Santa Express Train for Kids The annual Santa Express train for kids runs on Fridays in December at the Morristown and Erie Railroad station in Hoboken. It’s run by Railmen for Children, a non-profit organization that receives funding from donations and fundraising events.

Several schools choose the children they’d like to have on the train and then Railmen for Children purchases the gifts from each child’s wish list. The cost is roughly $50 to $75 per child, Decker said.
