The Company offers flight and missile control, landing gear, and utility actuation products. Whippany Actuation Systems also provides engineering, design and repair services.
MPS fin actuators are the heart of this miniature control system that guides unmanned flying objects through highly precise dynamic maneuvers. To meet the demanding specifications of this application, the smallest possible dimensions were key for designing and developing these actuators. To achieve this, the engineers at MPS Microsystems optimized their designs, taking into account force and velocity specifications as well as dimensions and weight – less than 100 g per actuator.
